Michael Rotondo: The Milennial Man Child

Michael Rotondo is turning 31. He also lives with his mom and dad. Michael is the premium example of a Millennial young adult who’s completely afraid to move out of his parents’ house. In other words, Michael Rotondo is a parasite. Or call him by other words such as deadbeat, loser and lout. The British have a fabulous term, which is layabout. The word literally means to “Lay About”.

Michael is a case of a stunted & cowardly adult man. He’s a Man Child.

His parents have paid to keep a house for all three of them to live in, and Michael became habituated to that. The guy is used to other adults paying bills for him to live dependently.

Furthermore, no excuses about the economy will be accepted.

I had to work in my 20s and that was from the 2000s to the 2010s. My own parents RANTED at me to get used to doing a job. My husband had to get a first job when he was a teenager. We both had to get habituated to doing paid work.

Also another thing:

Michael Rotondo has committed effort into doing his own legal research to make excuses for him to NEVER move out of his parents’ house. If he can do this, then Michael can redirect his effort into researching job postings. The guy can do the effort to get a job. He can do the effort to move out.

This is a warning for the parents who don’t expect their kids to clean up the messes they make, and to NEVER do a single chore: You are the problem that’s hampering your kids. A human who has never done steady chores & jobs won’t have the practice to feel confident to do paid work and to move out.

Michael is court ordered to move out on June 1st by 12 noon.

The new normal of the Mob and Public Shaming

An old, very ancient, institution has been resurrected in Western countries of this 21st century. That institution would be called the “Mob”.

The Mob is comprised of people of a community (from a nation-state to a village) who are made aware of a man or woman who’s violated the etiquette and the strongly believed in norms. The mob is made aware, and then quickly vilifies & shuns that person who had publicly violated the sacred values.

I would like to refer to two recent incidents of public shaming: Kelly Pocha and Aaron Schlossberg. These two people were publicly shamed because they had acted out their distrust when strangers had spoken a language that they didn’t understand. Kelly Pocha had overheard Dari (a dialect of Persian), and Aaron Schlossberg had overheard Spanish.

Both were subjected to an ancient justice that humans do while living as tribes, factions and as small scale intimate communities. Many people were outraged that Kelly and Aaron had wronged and violated a norm. So people had assembled to do an organized effort to reveal the name of the wrongdoer, the place of work, the home address, how to get the wrongdoer fired, and so on.

Look at the situation of Kelly Pocha:

She did a drunken rant toward Monir Omerzai and his friends while they were seated in a Denny’s restaurant in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Monir videoed her rant and then posted it on Facebook.

What followed Kelly Pocha’s recorded rant was her public shaming: She was fired by her employer, Dodge Chrysler Cranbrook (in British Columbia), because of thousands of people being outraged at her. Her case is an example of the Mob punishing one person.

The situation of Aaron Schlossberg isn’t significantly different:

He ranted in Fresh Kitchen at Midtown, New York city, after he heard an employee speak Spanish while taking Deena Suazo’s lunch order. Emily Serrano then videoed his rant about ONLY English should be spoken while taking an order. Emily supplied the video to the New York Daily News, and from there it went viral.

What followed was a public shaming: Aaron’s law firm lost its lease, and a Mariachi band was crowdfunded to show up in front of his apartment to serenade their condemnation of him. Currently, Aaron Schlossberg is humiliated.

Public shaming is worrisome to me because anyone could shamed and shunned. In other words, the Mob could make a mistake and publicly shame an innocent person.

Such an innocent person could be innocent because of speaking heresy against a cultural and political coup. Such a coup in Western Countries is currently the Political Correctness of Identity Politics going very wrong.

An example of Political Correctness going foul would be this: The current experience of Radical Feminists in the United Kingdom being publicly shamed by very aggressive and militant Trans Rights Activists. These feminists, like Miranda Yardley (a Transsexual Woman) and Venice Allan, are repeatedly mobbed, de-platformed, and ousted from the Labour party. It’s just bad to watch.

In all, the Mob publicly shaming to enforce the Political Correctness of Identity Politics is the new normal in Western countries. I wish it wasn’t, but it is.

Aaron Schlossberg: The new normal of Public Shaming

Aaron Schlossberg ranted in Fresh Kitchen at Midtown, New York city, after he heard an employee speak Spanish while taking Deena Suazo‘s lunch order. Emily Serrano then videoed his rant about ONLY English should be spoken while taking an order. He did this rant on Thursday, May 17th. Please come forward and correct me if I’m wrong about the names, date and place.

What followed AFTER Aaron’s rant was Public Shaming.

Many people were outraged and then assembled to do an organized effort to reveal Aaron’s name, place of work, where he lived, how to get him fired, and so on.

I don’t like what this guy said. However, I fear the Mob.

Public shaming is worrisome to me because anyone could shamed and shunned. In other words, the Mob could make a mistake and publicly shame an innocent person.

Such an innocent person could be innocent because of speaking Heresy against a political coup. Such a coup is Political Correctness going very wrong.

An example would be: The current experience of Radical Feminists in the United Kingdom being publicly shamed by very aggressive and militant Trans Rights Activists. These feminists, like Miranda Yardley (a Transsexual Woman) and Venice Allan, in the UK are repeatedly mobbed, de-platformed, and ousted from the Labour party. It’s just bad to watch.

Aaron Schlossberg’s public shaming very much reminds me of Kelly Pocha’s shaming. Kelly Pocha had lost her job in Cranbrook, British Columbia, because of her public rant at a Denny’s Restaurant in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

This is the new normal. Welcome to the 21st century in Western countries.

Kelly Pocha: Etiquette, Norms, and the new normal of the Mob in 21st century Canada

I really am not surprised.

An old, very ancient, institution has been resurrected in Western countries of this 21st century. That institution would be called the “Mob”.

The mob is comprised of people of a community (from a nation-state to a village) who are made aware of a man or woman who’s violated the etiquette and the strongly believed in norms. The mob is made aware and then quickly vilifies and shuns that person who publicly violated the sacred values.

Look at the situation of Kelly Pocha:

It’s easy to get recorded by a cell phone camera, and then publicly shamed & pilloried. Kelly Pocha was drunk & did a drunken rant. I know what she said was stupid, and yet I also feel sympathy for her because the mob has come after her.

The Facebook video by Monir Omerzai is found here.

She has been fired by her employer, Dodge Chrysler Cranbrook, because of thousands of people being outraged at her. Her case is an example of many people punishing one person. The group, or the community, punishes the individual for doing a public display of violating sacred beliefs like Anti-racism.

The sacred has been many kinds of values. In 21st century Western countries, Anti-racism is sacred.

The sacred norms could be understood as this:

They are the rules that everyone understands would make the community good and the individual human person good. Violating a sacred norm is an act of being evil. The sacred defines good and evil.

I’m also not a moral relativist. So what I’m saying is that I fear the mob, and I feel sympathy for Kelly Pocha. I feel bad for her being made jobless because the mob has said it’s the right punishment for her employer to shun her.

Beware.

Beware of the mob.

The Humboldt Broncos: Nora Loreto’s Social Justice response to a tragic bus crash – part 4

I had caught a supporter of Nora Loreto doing a lie, which was fake news.

The lie purported that Celeste Leray-Leicht (a Humboldt Broncos mother) was being mobbed with hate email and social media text messages.

The steps of this fake news occured like this:

1) Denise Balkisson (@balkisson) had linked to “PARENTS OF JACOB LEICHT FIND PURPOSE IN THE FACE OF TRAGEDY” by Ken Campbell, from The Hockey News, as part of her tweet:

2) The Twitter user @trapdinawrpool next used the screencapture from Denise’s tweet, and retweeted the image with the fake news claim that a Humboldt Broncos mother was being mobbed.

Below is the screencapture:

The tweet from @trapdinawrpool was exactly versed as: “The mob now turns its blood lust toward the mother of a deceased Humboldt player. This has never been about respect for the dead and their families but instead serving a white supremacist world view.”

Finally, Nora Loreto retweeted the fake news from @trapdinawrpool:

Nora had retweeted a fake claim from the Twitter user @trapdinawrpool because, obviously, the fake news had fit her own narrative of herself being a victim and that a mob was being irrational.

However, Nora is a terrible journalist for not vetting what is real news versus fake news from her Twitter fans. A real journalist has to assess the content that one of her fans blurbs. This is called having journalistic standards.

The Humboldt Broncos: Nora Loreto’s Social Justice response to a tragic bus crash – part 3

Many Canadians are now familiar with the Humboldt Broncos bus crash near the town of Tisdale, Saskatchewan.

16 people (10 of whom were the hockey players) were killed by the collision of a semi transport truck with the bus of the Humboldt Broncos. The location of this terrible collision was at the intersection of Highway 335 and Highway 35 in Saskatchewan.

As well, many Canadians became acquainted with Nora Loreto’s infamous tweet. It was a posturing statement that first demonstrated a moralizing Social Justice, and then a very weak condolence toward the Humboldt Broncos.

Nora had to tweet: “The Humboldt Tragedy is so terrible. I know that’s obvious but there’s really not much more to say.

However, she didn’t stop with ‘there’s not much more to say‘, but continued to yap:

I’m trying to not get cynical about what is a totally devastating tragedy but the maleness, the youthfulness and the whiteness of the victims are, of course, playing a significant role.”

She next embarked on a daily Twitter campaign to display herself as a victim. Of course, Nora had called anyone a Nazi and White Supremacist while doing this self absorbed effort to seem like a victim.

The words ‘Nazis’ and ‘White Supremacy’ were overused by Nora Loreto. Her incessant usage had made these words noise.

I liked this guy’s correction of her frequent overuse of ‘Nazis’:

It also doesn’t matter that he made a typo with ‘appropriate’. He made his point.
